Our clients had lived with their existing kitchen for over 20 years. They decided to extend the back of the house, making space for an open plan kitchen/diner/snug, and new utility room and came to Nü following a recommendation from their architect, who we’ve worked with on multiple projects.

We worked with our clients to mock up a few layout options, and collectively decided on this layout, as it allowed for a lovely dining area below the double height window, and also a good sized snug. The main kitchen area included a large island with seating, and worktop with a waterfall end, as well as storage, refrigeration and ovens along the back wall. We designed and fitted a bespoke larder with bi-fold sliding doors which our clients absolutely love! Complemented by designer aged brass handles, to give a finishing touch, and added warmth to the space.

We are delighted with our new kitchen from the initial design stage by Mel to the final installation, the process was handled professionally and with attention to detail.
Mel listened to our ideas and requests and offered suggestions which enhanced the practical layout. All aspects were thoughtfully planned and frequent changes by us were accepted and incorporated into the design.
The installation team were professional, friendly and tidy throughout the project with a particular thanks to Andy for his helpful suggestions and advice.
Emily joined the team mid term and project managed the build brilliantly.
